Test different call-to-action with your users

Why?

Call-to-action acts as a user guide designed to assist the user in finding the next appropriate step in using your product or service. Depending on your audience, different designs, styles and descriptions convert better than others.

The solution

Try to use different styles and texts and test the conversion rates in your solution with real users. Sometimes it’s just another word that nearly doubles conversion. A/B testing is a good tool here for getting the results.

Michael Aagaard shared some insights into his tests 7 years ago. Even if the information is somewhat older, it clearly shows how the smallest changes can have a major impact: https://unbounce.com/conversion-rate-optimization/design-call-to-action-buttons/

Key takeaway: Try different button designs, styles and texts in A/B tests to see what will best serve your users.
